Greetings from Henny’s Yarn Shop! Here’s what’s happening this month…
The Spring/Summer Top Knit-a-Long we started in April was so popular and there were so many choices and fun new yarns to choose from, we decided to extend it through May. You’ll find links to all the sweaters pictured above in the April Newsletter by clicking HERE.

Our Sock of the Month pattern for May is the Penny Socks from Knit On Designs and it’s FREE on Ravelry.
With a simple top-down construction, and beautifully crafted lace that runs down the front of the foot, this sock will be nothing short of your new favorite. Penny is a beginner friendly sock pattern. Though it uses DPNs, it’s written in a way that you can use your preferred sock needle. Because they are “shorties” you can usually get two pair from one skein of sock yarn!
Henny chose a fun bright color from our collection of sock yarns from Supernova Dyeworks.

NEW YARN SPOTLIGHT
Speaking of NORO… This new yarn just arrived. It’s called Mabuki and is 492 yards of worsted weight in a silk, wool, and rayon blend.
Another new arrival below is the Summer Socks Fancy from Laines du NORD. This one is a cotton/nylon blend perfect for the warmer months!
