September KAL
Fall is in the air! Have you felt that little chill in the mornings and thought… “Ahhhh! Sweater Weather!” ???
Well, we are feeling it and have decided what better time to cast on a new cardigan for our September KAL. This month we will be making the DRK Everyday Cardi by Andrea Mowry.
The DRK Everyday Cardi is knit from the top down, beginning with the folded collar. It can be worn with either the knit or purl side facing out, with just a few simple tweaks to the directions (which are included in the pattern). The raglan “seams” from the yoke are carried all the way down to the hem of the cardigan. The body is knit flat, and the sleeves are knit in the round. The button band is worked using an applied double knit technique for a beautifully polished finish!

Linda made her gorgeous DRK Everyday Cardi using Silk Garden Sock Solo from NORO, which we carry in several pretty colorways.

Moving on to our SOCK of the MONTH… How cute are these Rosebud Trellis Socks? Our sock club will be knitting up these sport weight cuties and exploring two new techniques… Toe up sock knitting and Judy Beckerʼs Magic Cast-On. These lacey socks are knit on size US 3 needles using sport weight yarn. We think the Noro Silk Garden Sock Solo yarn and Eco Tweed from Ella Rae, both pictured above would be great choices for this FREE pattern.
