November at HYS…
Welcome back friends! We have an exciting month ahead… New yarn, a fun KAL, the beginning of our annual Countdown to Christmas Knits, and our 15th Anniversary Bash! So much to share… keep scrolling :)
November is a BIG month for us! Henny’s Yarn Shop has been a special place on Main Street in Caledonia for 15 years and we have a bundle of special ways to mark this huge milestone. From cute new HYS Anniversary T-shirts, totes, and notions pouches, to two brand new custom dyed colorways - we can’t wait to celebrate! We will set aside November 18 through November 22 for our Anniversary Bash! Keep an eye on our socials for the upcoming details :)
Gnomevember KAL
This month we are going crazy for these adorable GNOMES in all shapes and sizes. Stop by and you’ll spot a growing collection in the front window display :) Some of these little guys are from The Gnomes of Grimblewood book which you can get for 15% off this month with the KAL discount. Others are patterns from Ravelry. You get to choose any gnome you want to make this month!

Sock (Yarn) of the Month!
This month our Sock Club chose a yarn instead of a sock pattern to work with. This new Supersocke DK yarn came in and the sock-knitters were smitten. So, you get 15% of a skein of the yarn this month and you get to chose your own pattern. Maybe go with a good old basic sock like The DK Weight Vanilla Sock from the Crazy Sock Lady or Rye DK from tincanknits.
You could also challenge yourself to try a new technique like two socks at a time, toe-up, or a different type of heel.
We just know whatever you decide to do with this fun self-striping yarn, you’ll have a cozy pair of sock in no time with a DK weight yarn.
