November KAL - The Golden Hour by Andrea Mowry
The Golden Hour Shawl uses three skeins of worsted weight yarn in different colors. Our shop sample (which is traveling with Henny this month!) is made with Malabrigo Rios, but we have many yarn choices available.
The KAL will be meeting on the first three Thursdays in November, 10:30 a.m. to noon. All KAL participants receive 15% off yarn for the project. Call or stop by the shop to sign up! 616-891-2406

Afghan Fundraiser Tickets on Sale!
Many of our customers have been busy knitting squares for our fundraiser afghan. Don’t we have great customers?!? Linda will be piecing the squares together and finishing the afghan which will be raffled off to a lucky winner! Tickets are available at the shop for $5 or 5 for $20. A winner will be announced at our Holiday Open House in December. All proceeds from the blanket will be donated to En-Gedi Children’s Home in Kenya. Yarn Shop Samples for Sale
Henny will be selling knit samples from the yarn shop at a Holiday Open House this month. The event will take place in Caledonia at the home of her daughter, Becky Bravata. All proceeds from the sale of the knit and crochet items will go towards mission work in Africa. In addition to Henny’s Yarn Shop, several other vendors will be available for holiday shopping, as well as refreshments. Bring a friend, or a carload and help us kick off the season!
